Quebec’s Charter of Values: a needless distraction

Buried in the cacophony of noise concerning Quebec’s Charter of Values was a story about the median family income of Quebecers versus the national average. The 2010 census data tells a sad story that the provincial average was 11% below the national average, and 26.8% below that of the average Albertan family. Meanwhile we like medieval angelogists argue about the number of dancing angels on the head of a pin. Work and economic success brings us together far better than the banning of differentiating religious symbols
